No. It is important that the linked bank account actually belongs to the owner of the properties. In the Netherlands, the Land Registry keeps track of who owns which properties.

Therefore, we have drawn up a policy which determines when we do and do not accept new owners. This policy is based on legislation, but also on potential risk and image damage for Bidly.

We use the following information to verify that the ultimate recipient of the rentals is also the owner of the property:

Business clients:

We check if the owner of the business account matches the information of the Chamber of Commerce. Then we check if the added properties are also listed in the Land Registry with the specified owner.

Private customers:

We check if the owner of the bank account is the same as the specified owner in Bidly. Then we check whether the added properties are listed under the specified owner in the Land Registry.
